Five months down, seven to go. How’s 2008 treating you?

Welcome to June, folks. If you’re like me, it’s hard to believe that the BIG hand has made it all the way to the 5 already. But I like to use any milestone, whether it’s the beginning of a new month, a holiday, or anything else, to check progress on my goals.
This year, so far, has been a good one for me. I’ve simplified my working methods. I’m making progress on some big projects, both for Hoover’s and for myself. But I still see lots of room for obvious improvements.
How about you?
How’s business so far in 2008?

This year has been one of the most challenging and obstacle-laden of my life, both personally and professionally. Each little victory is cause for celebration. It has deepened my tendency for optimism and made me pay attention to each lesson learned. Though, seriously, I know that adversity builds character, but enough already! My sincerest hope is that the last half of this year will be triumphant, and I am working hard to make it so.
this year its looking slow More of outsourcing
It’s crazy to think it’s already June. With the end of the second quarter already upon us. It’s funny to think that in January, I had set personal goals for myself because when I look back at those goals, I laugh and think “who was I kidding?” And then it makes you wonder how lazy you really are.
But despite setbacks or a lack of even starting certain goals, 2008 has been a good year. My business is doing well despite losing a few clients along the way and goals set there are being met.
It’s never to late to start on the personals one’s though right?
